For example, the workshop will include a review of Strategy Instruction Models, and discussion and comparison of packages that combine strategies (e.g., Reciprocal Reading, Collaborative Strategic Reading, Strathclyde Higher Order Reading Skills Approach - SHORS). The workshop explains how to get students, parents and partners on board and how to implement these ideas across a class, school, or consortium. Full course fee includes copy of textbook "How to create autonomous learners".
